Hand Quilt Along

Have you ever prepared a post ahead of time and scheduled it to post at a specific time, then never be able to find it again?  Well, that's what happened to me!  I have no clue where my post for today went, but it has disappeared!!

But I did make progress!!  Three weeks ago, I had 16 of these lovely geese hand sewn down and I now have 34.  I have decided to do them by color families, so green is getting sewn first...I think there are more of them then any other color!!

I'll admit, this hand sewing only happened because I got the flu and my computer went to the hospital for a few days.  I had no energy for anything.

If you have any hand project and would like to join our group, contact Kathy at

So sorry about the flu bug, Sassy. Hope you are starting to feel a bit better. I've heard there's been some long recuperations this year. Well done double your finished geese! Onward and upward!

Yep our household is now full of colds and coughs and everything else which seems to be going this year, can't wait for it to all be gone.

Love those flying geese the colourse are great and I can't wait to see it finished. One of my "To Do's" is some hand quilting but think I will start small before trying anything large just in case!!!

Glad you are feeling better now and your computer is home, all these things seem to come together when coping with one thing is bad enough.

Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx

I've made these kind of curves before (Southwind Quilt patterns), but I'm a lazy quilter and used the machine to tack them down. Beautiful quilt!

Ugh, and now I have the flu! I hope it's coming to an end. I don't know how you did this with everything else.
