I Need Your Opinion
I am trying to decide which border fabric to use on my controlled-scrappy quilt. Which one would you choose? The size of the border is approximately what is showing.
Border one:
Border 4 is too dominant and takes away from the main part of the quilt. Border 3 is too 'twirly' and 'nah' for Border 2 . But, Border 1 is just right!
i agree with podunk, but think 4 would be a pretty binding. i absolutely love the quilt pattern, i tracked it down to november of 2012 post and LOVE the ribbon border soooo much! it makes the quilt i think. would you share your pattern?
#2 or #3....which I decided before I read the previous blog comment! Both have a good balance of white-to-black. #1 is too black. #4 is too "op-art," and jarring.

I vote for border 2 or 3. 4 hurts my eyes.
I like #2 But they all would work. I think its the variation in the size in the pattern I like.

My vote is for #2. It is attractive yet doesn't draw your eyes away from the beautiful quilt. I like the "gentleness" of the look.

Border number 2 because it has some motion to it but not so aggressive as to be taking away your attention from the quilt itself. Kathy Aho

I like 3 first, then 1. Number 4 is way too busy.
I think border #2 is best. The other 3 choices are too busy for my likings and I am not a girlie girl either.
