Happy Mother's Day and HQAL

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Mother's Day with your beloveds.  I did absolutely no sewing in the past few weeks...best I can say is that I have been working on cutting out a new quilt, but even that has been going slowly.  Sorry there is no better report on the HQAL.  My step-daughter didn't get her baby quilt in time for the shower as the quilter was out of town and didn't get to it.

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another.  If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

I'm sorry the quilter didn't get to Liberty Belle's quilt before the shower, but now it will be ready when Liberty arrives! We all hit those spots when life just changes our plans, don't we!

I know the feeling when things don't go to plan but at least it will be ready for the New Arrivial. Can't wait to see your new quilt when it is ready, it is great to start a new project. Hope the cutting out goes well. I did a small project over the weekend and I was not concentrating when I cut out some of the pieces so had to start all over again! I blame it on being tired. Hope all goes well, Hugs, Susie xx
