I have been working on the quilting on this quilt for about a week now. The pattern is Radiant Sun by Cara Gulati and can be found at http://www.doodlepress.com/store.php This is the first curved piecing I have done and found the pattern to be forgiving!
I love the quilting Angela Walters does with her Modern Quilts and she blogs at http://www.quiltingismytherapy.com/ I own her first book, Free Motion Quilting with Angela Walters, and her second one, In the Studio with Angela Walters, should be coming soon! I am really looking forward to it!!!

Well, thanks so much!! That is very sweet of you!!!
Lovely...your quilting looks great with this pattern. I can't wait to see it finished, you are doing great. I like the straight line boxy stitching in the picture above too. Very nice!
I have Angela's book too and am learning lots from it. I found out about her from SewCalGal's Free Motion Quilting challenge last year. I learned so much from that challenge. Have fun with this quilt and stay warm too!
Beautiful work!
Wonderful work! I saw you in the comments on Cheryl's blog this morning and it reminded me that you haven't answered my e-mail yet. I have a panel to mail to you about what cancer cannot do, but I need your snail mail address. mraiford@hughes.net
Good to know that curved piecing can be forgiving! It's on my to do list to try. Your colors are vibrant!
