Bonnie Hunter's Good Fortune Mystery Quilt

I have decided I am going to try doing this quilt!  Of course, I'll start out way behind because of my shoulder surgery tomorrow morning, but I'm going to give it my best shot!  My stash is minimal here at my dad's house, but there are wonderful fabric shops near me, so as soon as I can drive I'll be heading to Home Depot or Lowe's to get my paint chips and get myself situated as to how much of what color I need to buy.  Reds and oranges aren't plentiful here, so I know those will be new fabrics.  I don't have much neutral either, so I'll pick those up to.  Heck, I don't have much green or blue either, so I'll just make it a big, expensive trip to my LQS!!

Are you planning on doing the mystery quilt as well?  If you have no idea what I am talking about, this is the place to go to get all of the information...inspired by her trip last year to China!!!

You will enjoy it and have the advantage os seeing the clues being done by the time you can start yours.

Good luck with your surgery. Wishing you a speedier than expected recovery.

Wow it looks like it is going to be amazing but I don't want to commit to anything else at the moment so my just follow along and see how things go. Good luck with the colour choices, they are not mine I am afraid but again you can always change them when you see what it is like.

However a trip to the LQS is always a fun time.

Have a great weekend.

Hugs Susie xx

Have fun with your Good Fortune quilt! I'm not currently planning to do the quilt. With that said, I will collect the instructions... just in case!

Found your comment on Bonnie's blog and had to visit because "Farm and Quilting" are also in my blood!

I also am making the mystery--but will sew when I can as we're still harvesting Sesame and Cotton!

Looking forward seeing what you come up with.

I also want to attempt this quilt, however, I cannot find the information regarding anything else but the first page. I know Bonnie has posted the first clue, but I can't seem to find it. Any suggestions? Bev
