Rush Hour in the Blogs!

Have you noticed all the great quilty things our fellow bloggers have been creating in the Rush Hour Blog Hop?  You know that Mdm Samm of sewwequilt is the mastermind of this blog hop and Carol who blogs at justletmequilt is the head Cheerleader.  If you haven't been hopping, head on over to their blogs and prepare to be blown away!  So impressive!!  I was inspired to make a red, black and gray quilt...not quilted yet, but the top is finished!!  I'm not a part of the hop, but I thought I would throw my red, black and gray quilt top in there!
It quite reminds me of the crazy streets in big cities.  This pattern is from the book Modern Quilts from the Blogging Universe, called Knots and is designed by Natalia Bonner.  I love it and can't wait to get it on the frame and quilt it!!!

Hi I love this quilt it reminds me of a silver necklace with the links, it must have taken ages. I assume it is a night light on the wall on the left but in the picture it looks like a mug with tea in, floating half way up the wall!!!! Hugs, Susie x

Great quilt top! The color choices gives it a 3D effect. I'm loving the hop too... lots of inspiration....although I haven't acted upon it yet like you!

Somehow I missed that hop! I will have to check it out. I do like your top! It is reminiscent of city streets, you're right, and it has a feeling of a city - that lively, active feeling missing in smaller towns.
